Return & Refund Policy

Preorder & Made-to-Order Items: Final Sale

All preorder and made-to-order items are final sale — no returns, exchanges, or refunds — due to the custom, limited-batch nature of production. The only exceptions are manufacturing defects or fulfillment errors on our part (see below).

In-Stock Items: 7-Day Return Window

For items marked as in-stock (not preorder) at time of purchase:

  • Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and in original condition with tags attached.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to an HBCU CRWNS error or defect.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected. Please allow 5–7 business days for processing after receipt.

Defects & Errors

If you receive a defective item or the wrong item, contact us within 5 days of delivery at collegiatelifestyle.us@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the issue. We will make it right with a replacement, exchange, or refund at our discretion — no cost to you.

What Is Not Eligible for Return

  • Preorder / made-to-order items (final sale, per above)
  • Items returned after the applicable window
  • Items showing wear, odor, damage, or alteration not caused by HBCU CRWNS
  • Sale, clearance, or promotional items marked final sale at time of purchase

Order Disputes & Chargeback Notice

We want every customer to have a great experience, and we always encourage reaching out to us directly first — most issues can be resolved quickly at collegiatelifestyle.us@gmail.com before it ever needs to go further.

For transparency and to protect both our customers and our small, licensed business:

  • All customers agree to these posted policies (shipping timelines, preorder terms, and return terms) at the time of checkout.
  • Order confirmation emails and product pages clearly disclose preorder processing windows before purchase.
  • Because preorder timelines are disclosed in advance and agreed to at checkout, a delivery arriving within the stated window is considered fulfilled as described — not a basis for a "item not received" dispute.
  • We keep records of tracking, delivery confirmation, and customer communication for every order to resolve any payment disputes accurately and promptly.
  • We ask that customers contact us directly for any concern before opening a bank or card dispute — we can typically resolve issues faster than a chargeback process, and it helps us keep offering preorders and licensed drops at fair prices.
